Southern Bluesnight Festival. The jubilee
edition of the Southern Blues night is doing something
extra special for the occassion and is awarding
a search to the 'roots' and the big ones from the
blues centre Chicago, New Orleans, Baton Rouge,
the American West Coast and Canada with the presentation
of a series of top artists, who together, will perhaps
be the best promising edition yet in the history
of fame. The blues in all her fascinating styles
with the emphasis on quality, authenticity and originality,
with well known names and surprises: that is concept
with what the SBN grew out into a top hit in the
blues circuit. Guitar virtues, mouth organ wizards
of top class and the yearly acoustic top hit are
again filling the stages. Only just head lines
this time, with: Campbell Brothers (US), Mem Shannon
& The Membership (US), Sugar Ray & Bluetones
with special guest Alex Schultz (US), Skoller Band
(US), Michael Jerome Brown (CAN), Larry Garner &
Band (US), and Pelt (NL). The presentation is in
hands of Joeri Wilbers and there also will be a
